Grimshawes Post Office
Whiteside Cove, Cashiers, NC.
Constructed 1903, this 5 1/2-by-6 foot structure gained fame as the smallest post office
in the nation.
Well, not exactly.
We reproduced this historic piece of Western North Carolina Architecture on location.
Approximate in size & created much in the same manor as the original, with the help of a few modern
conveniences.
Split log walls, with a gable porch roof, the Sawyerville Post Office provides perfect shade for little
afternoon pickin.
